Arctic Marine Conservation Dialogue
Online Event via Zoom, Chatham House Rule applies
The Arctic Marine Conservation Dialogue is an international expert workshop on marine nature conservation in the Arctic. During the workshop, challenges the Arctic marine environment is currently facing are discussed and ideas about ways forward to effectively protect the Arctic waters and their biodiversity are exchanged.
Three parallel thematic working groups will allow for in-depth discussions on:
- area-based management under climate change,
- sustainable fisheries, and
- oil, gas, and biodiversity protection.
The event is organized by Ecologic Institute for the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation with the generous support of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety. The Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies (IASS) and WWF Germany are implementation partners.
Participation is only possible by personal invitation.
