Linda joined the Research Institute for Sustainability (RIFS) - Helmholtz Centre Potsdam in January 2023 as research associate for the ocean governance group. In the framework of the Horizon Europe projects 'SOS-ZEROPOL2030' and 'Marine SABRES' she assesses governance processes and approaches for the prevention and reduction of marine pollution, as well as to achieve sustainability and resilience for the protection of marine biodiversity. Before joining RIFS she worked as Project and Research Support Fellow at the World Maritime University-Sasakawa Global Ocean Institute. Linda holds a MA in International Politics and International Law from Kiel University and a BA in Political Science, Sociology and Psychology from Bonn University.
